Mr. Wilson

Mr. Wilson is a 2021 Appaloosa gelding that’s big, solid, kind-eyed, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. He’s the kind you appreciate more every ride… talented, thoughtful, and just enough personality to keep things interesting (in the best way).

He’s not hot and he’s not in a hurry. He rides with a calm, steady feel and stays balanced underneath you. Not built to be fast, but built to be correct, comfortable, and dependable.

He’s been started right and it shows. Comfortable with both ranch and trail-type work, relaxed when asked to think, and aware of his body. When things get new, he slows down, looks for guidance, and processes instead of reacting. That kind of brain carries over everywhere.

He’s earned points in the Appaloosa show world and handles new environments with a level head. He has a nice start to a turnaround, a cute jog, an easy extended trot, and a consistent, comfortable lope. His transitions are smooth and he carries a willing stop.

He would make a strong prospect for a handy youth or someone wanting a solid partner to continue building with. He has the size, brain, and demeanor that allow a rider to grow without feeling overwhelmed.

On the ground, he can be a touch confident, but he’s easily corrected and respects clear expectations.

And personality-wise? He’s a good one. First at the gate, wants to be involved, naturally curious, playful, and easy to handle.
