Tomorrow’s problems
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
-Matthew 6:34
Somebody please write this on a napkin and staple it to my forehead. I’m asking you nicely. Please.
Honestly though, this is one of my biggest struggles in my life at the moment. I have the kind of personality that tends to focus on everything I need to do, and everything I’ve done poorly. I get so wrapped up in the “Oh, I’ve failed here”, and the “Oh, I forgot to get that done”, and the “Oh, I need to make sure I do this tomorrow”, that I overlook all that I’ve been blessed with and all that I have accomplished today.
Next time you find yourself worrying about tomorrow’s problems, take a moment to reevaluate what you’re prioritizing. Don’t ruin the moment you’re in by worrying about issues that are not yet reality.
Stay the course. Hold the line. Burn the breeze.
