When Everything Happens All at Once
You ever hit one of those seasons where your coffee goes cold before you even remember you grabbed it at yet another gas station stop? Where you set your phone down for two minutes and somehow come back to twelve missed calls, a new problem, and one text that just says “???”
Yeah. That’s where I’m at.
Somewhere between exhaustion and excitement, halfway through a to-do list that seems to multiply overnight. I swear every time I cross something off, two new things sprout up like weeds after a summer rain.
And yet, this is the good kind of chaos. The kind that tells you something’s shifting. Something’s growing. Something’s coming together, even if it feels like life may be all falling apart in the process.
I don’t know what season you’re in right now… Maybe it’s busy, maybe it’s quiet, maybe it’s one of those in-between stretches where everything feels uncertain, but if you’re hanging on by a thread, consider this your reminder: threads are still strong enough to hold if you don’t let go.
Some days you just keep going. You trust that the dust will settle and what’s underneath it will make sense. You drink the cold coffee, laugh at the chaos, and thank God that He knows what He’s doing even when you don’t.
Because one day, the chaos will quiet down, and you’ll realize this was the season that changed everything. All the “right nows” that don’t make sense will become the “remember whens” that do.
Until then, here’s to every wild, wonderful, slightly overwhelming season that reminds us we’re alive… and still in the saddle.
